Two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, witness their mother's paranormal death as children and grow up trained to fight by a distraught father who wants nothing more than to hunt down the thing that killed his wife. But now, their father is missing.

DJ: Just a tad late on this show... *Rating*: 8/10 that jump scare made me drop a point. 

Sam and Dean follow the coordinates left in their father's journal and land in the middle of the Colorado woods where they investigate the disappearance of several campers.

DJ: *Rating* - 6/10: Not as good as the first episode but still enjoyable

On TransNational flight 2485, a man possessed by the spirit of the Phantom Traveler causes the plane to crash, leaving only five survivors.

DJ: *Rating* a solid 8/10 - was fun, had some movement in the plot & I think I may be crushing on Dean a little bit...just saying. 

In suburban Nebraska, several partying high school teens jokingly dare their friend to look into a mirror and repeat "Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary," not knowing that this will unleash a series of mysterious murders.

Sam and Dean help Sam's old college buddy after he is accused of a murder he swears he didn't commit.

DJ: Another great episode! Loved seeing Dean play bad - how is his face gonna escape the law now though?! 

In a small college town in Iowa, Sam and Dean encounter the infamous "Hook Man," a vengeful spirit who kills his victims with a shiny hook that serves as his hand.

DJ: Another solid monster of the week ep. I rate it 8/10 - the worst jump scare yet happens in this ep and I tried my hardest to play it cool. Hope you enjoy :) 

After a construction worker is killed by insects burrowing into his brain, Sam and Dean investigate a town's history and find that the new housing development is being built on sacred American Indian land.

DJ: I rate this episode *4.5/10* I hate giving low ratings but i'm still itchy from watching this ep! 😂...Also, if this episode was removed from the season it wouldn't make a difference to the story at all. 

Sam is haunted by a vision of a woman trapped in the brothers' childhood house and convinces a reluctant Dean that they need to go home.  

DJ: I rate this episode a solid *9.5/10* so good!!! 

Sam and Dean investigate an abandoned sanitarium.

DJ: I give this episode *8.5 out of 10* ... it was a solid 9 but those damn jump scares gave me no choice but to drop the rating! 

Sam and Dean finally make contact with their father, but he tells them to stop looking for him and sends them on another ghost-hunting job. 

DJ: Cracker of an ep guys! I really feel like im getting sucked into this show now and i'm not complaining 

While battling a demon, Dean is electrocuted, resulting in permanent damage to his heart and leaving him with only a couple of months to live. A despondent Sam searches desperately for a way to save his brother and believes he may have found an answer through a preacher who claims to heal the incurable.

DJ: I rate this ep 7.5/10. It was still an interesting episode to watch. Seeing Sam's sad eyes at the thought of losing Dean was just too much. I knew he'd be fine obviously but that moment was still touching. Loved seeing Julie Benz in this ep, she was a fav of mine from Dexter. There was a definite spark between Lyla and Dean, that ending scene was a little emosh not gonna lie. 

Dean is contacted by his first love, Cassie, who asks him to come to Mississippi to investigate a string of racially motivated murders.

Sam has a premonition in which a man is killed, but the murder is made to look like a suicide.

DJ: I thought this ep was fab! We are getting into the good stuff now with Sam & his powers & also had some strong brother moments as well this ep :) 

Sam and Dean head to Minnesota where a young boy witnesses a man vanishing into thin air. 

DJ: *Rating* - 7.5 - solid ep, liked the twist of it being unrelated to a Supernatural case but still had the solid brother bond, humour & eerie feel - really enjoying it :) 

While investigating a mysterious death in Chicago, Sam and Dean run into Meg, who is thrilled to see Sam again.

DJ: *Rating 9.5/10* - loved this ep!!! Finally we have some gritty plot & it was definitely worth the wait :D 

Sam and Dean investigate a house haunted by the ghost of a man who killed his six daughters during the 1930s.

DJ: *Rating* - 8/10 - Loved the humour in this ep, it's a lot of fun seeing Sam & Dean tease each other not gonna lie haha. 

Sam and Dean investigate a small town in Wisconsin where children are falling into comas for no apparent reason. 

DJ: *rating* 9/10. This may seem like a high rating from me considering we haven't moved forward in plot but the exploration of the boys backstory was brilliant. Such a shame Dean was so heavily relied upon for Sam's safety and well being. The lifestyle they lead is definitely not child friendly. The jump scare KILLED me in this episode definitely the worst ones yet but I'm convinced it was because I watched IT at the cinema the night before & didn't sleep at all! 

A young husband and wife are killed in their home shortly after buying an antique painting of a family portrait from around 1910. 

DJ: *Rating* - 8/10 - This is one painting you wouldn't want on your wall! Creepy as! Was sad to see Sam so hurt and upset discussing his relationships and how he feels he's cursed but it had a semi happy ending :) 

After a vampire hunter who was John's mentor is murdered, Sam and Dean are surprised when John himself shows up to solve the case. 

DJ: *Rating* - 7.8/10 - The emotional scenes were on point in this episode. The vampire scenes were lacking in my opinion but absolutely love the fact that we are getting closer to facing this demon and the finale is so close now!! Cant wait for it! 

After Sam has a vision of a family being attacked in the same manner as his mom was, the brothers and their father, John, head to Salvation, Iowa, to save the family Sam dreamed of.

DJ: *Rating* 9.5/10 - I'm scuuuured guys!! It's getting so good! Freakin' loved the beginning of the episode with the montage of what's happened so far-the song is AMAZING & it was so well edited! (sadly my video got flagged so had to remove that section & reupload).

On a mission to save their father, John, from Meg, Sam and Dean seek help from an old family friend, Bobby.

DJ: *Rating* 10/10!! This episode was everything! I have so many thoughts...Mainly - you guys were 100% right, it was totally worth it & if this is what future seasons are like I cannot wait!
