Fred and Gun frantically hunt for clues to their friends' whereabouts, the only eyewitness to Angel's plight is murdered, and an unlikely person rescues Angel. 

Angel, Fred and Gunn run into a cat burglar while trying to steal a mystical antique that can locate lost souls across dimensions. 

While in Las Vegas, Angel discovers that Lorne is being coerced by a casino owner to steal the significant destinies of patrons to sell on the black market. 

Cordelia returns, but she has no memory of who she is or that Angel is a vampire, so everyone tries to keep their demon-hunting business a secret, and Connor assumes the role of Cordelia's protector after saving her from a demon. 

A portal opens at the symposium where Fred is speaking on her recently published physics article, and she comes face to face with a former professor's dark secret. 

While restoring Cordelia's memory, Lorne inadvertently causes everyone to revert to their high-school personas and to forget what they know about each other. 

Bloodied and broken, Angel and his friends try to rout the Beast who rose from the centre of the earth bringing quakes and a rain of fire. 

Angel (David Boreanaz) learns that Connor (Vincent Kartheiser) is trapped in Wolfram & Hart and the beast (Vladimir Kulich) is on a killing spree. 

The gang learns that the answer to stopping the Beast is in their midst, and Angel and Gwen discover that the Beast is planning to turn the world into a demon playground. 

The gang resolves to bring forth Angel's evil alter ego, Angelus, and they know that only a moment of pure happiness will spur this transformation. 

The gang tries interrogating Angelus to find out how to kill the beast, but find out nothing, except that Angel's soul has been stolen. 

With Angel's soul missing, the gang confront Wo-Pang about its whereabouts, leaving Angelus in his cage. They learn that the beast is working for a larger entity. 

Wesley frees Faith from prison and takes her to Los Angeles to help capture Angelus; the Beast's master plan is revealed. 

Faith (guest star Eliza Dushku) battles Angelus; Cordelia convinces Connor to keep their baby a secret. 

In a fight with Faith, Angelus is tricked and captured. Before she bit Angelus, Faith had injected herself with a drug that caused them to fall into a coma. Willow comes to the rescue. 

Angel and the gang try to find out as much as they can about Cordelia's mysterious pregnancy; Gwen Raiden enlists Gunn's help to crash a black-tie affair and rescue a kidnapped girl. 

Angel forces a demon (guest star David Denman) to tell him why Cordelia has turned to the dark side. Julie Benz also guest stars. 

Jasmine, who was born to Cordelia, has the ability to turn everyone she meets into a loyal disciple, and Fred has the ability to see past Jasmine's radiant beauty. 

Fred is on the run, and no one can see Jasmine. When she comes back, she tries to kill the monster but instead hits Angel with a bullet. After having come into contact with Jasmine's blood, he can now see too. 

The gang try to escape from Jasmine's followers by taking to the sewers, but there Wesley is captured by a big bug with some useful information. 

Angel tries to find proof his son wasn't simply a vessel designed to bring the evil Jasmine into the world and Connor embarks on a search for Cordelia. 

Angel and the others are presented with an opportunity to take over Wolfram & Hart and learn the firm's secrets, and Angel seizes upon a chance to change his son's future.
